Als Eurythmics entwickelten sie einen einzigartigen Sound, unterstützt von einem kühlen, androgynen Image, das die Ästhetik der frühen Achtziger entscheidend prägte. Auf Sweet Dreams oder Here Comes The Rain Again folgten viele weitere Hits, und schon bald war Dave Stewart nicht mehr nur der gefeierte Songwriter und musikalische Allrounder in seiner Band, sondern auch ein gefragte Produzent, der unter anderem internationale Top-Acts wie Tom Petty, Jon Bon Jovi, oder Bob Dylan betreute. Dafür gewann er neben Damian Marley und A.R. Rahman auch Joss Stone und Mick Jagger; das gleichnamige Album schoss in Deutschland auf Platz 2 der Charts. Aber nicht nur seine Karriere war gespickt mit illustren Namen und verrückten Begebenheiten. Stewarts Privatleben war mindestens ebenso wild: Er genoss den Rock'n'Roll-Jetset in vollen zügen und ließ nichts aus. Doch neben den Drogen, den Nahtod-Erfahrungen, den Krankenhausaufenthalten und den rauschenden Partys, sind es vor allem die Begegnungen mit anderen großen Stars, die seine Erinnerungen prägen.
